And Hank Mardukas is a song about bromance and the importance of a strong male bond - either you are a teenage dirtbag, a post 70s rocker (with little or no respect for traditional music), a poker cheating yuppie or an androgynous night girl. The music represents a weird mix of 80s and 90s nostalgia, through retro synthesizers, post disco beats, and funky harmonies. The song celebrates the ten year anniversary of the movie I Love You Man, which the title is a reference to.
